Preparation Time 5 mins
Cooking Time 20 mins
Ingredients1 leek (sliced)
1 large potato (chopped into small cubes)
50g/2oz butter
1 chicken stock
300ml boiling water
Salt & Pepper
EquipmentChopping board
Knife
Spoon
Saucepan
Measuring Jug
Method1 Put the butter in the saucepan and melt.
2. Add the leek and potato and gently fry for 5 minutes until softened.
3 Dissolve the stock cube in the boiling water and add to the leek and potato
4 Simmer gently for 15 mins and add salt and pepper to taste
